christmas is up 2011

Christmas is up so let the parties begin!!  I'm one of the stops on the progressive dinners for the Relief society.
Love my little cones I  made last year with dollar store tinsel spray pained to look vintage. so easy and so cute!
This would look better without the lamp but as we have no overhead lighting I so need it there.
Oh my favorite find last year after Christmas a gold Christmas tree. Oh how I love it. I'm still searching for tan stringed lights, I know I can get them on the Internet but I haven't gotten that far:)
was black sprayed it cream added a bow, glittered the runners and wham new deco.
skates I did last year love to modpodge.
Ok so its not finished but still cute and the barn wood on the side of the road was an Ashley find thanks girl.

Brys work party 2011

I loved doing Brys work party last year!! it was sooooo time consuming like 100 hours.  but i loved it all.  What I don't like is missing out on my friends and shopping and lunches,  but some of us have to work and thank goodness i love it!!!

this year theme was 1950 I'll be home for Christmas.  Every thing was pastel and glittery. In fact the CEO said where is the  Christmas party this must be a wedding. he he.  I know I might of glittered a bit much but I love a little glitter (ok a lot!!)

the Sweet table was so much fun to prep for however by the time  I was finished hanging the ceiling and doing the tables I had to have Ashley my partner in crime finish it for me what  a great job she did stying the jars.

A special thanks to Kristi Lisa Ashley and Mackinsey for helping.  and Michelle and lance , and Austin for cleaning it all up!
Ok I know I'm crazy but I all ready know what I'm going to do next year.  We will reuse the bell jars and maybe some of the trees.  winter wonderland here we come.. Does anyone have those white light up reindeer I can borrow???

Thanksgiving 2011

Wow I'm getting a little lax in my blogging. I have to update a bit more so that you can see I'm truly grateful for my family!!!  I love hosting thanksgiving dinner. I love cooking for it decorating for it having the family over and just  hanging out.

I so wanted a ton of pictures this year so I got my camera out and took some of the table and  then set it down when the family came.  I get so caught up in talking and playing and eating I didn't pick up the camera again till the kids were decorating their gingerbread houses.  my goal this year is to get more candid shots  of the kids, they are growing up and will soon be gone. where does the time go?

I'm grateful for my family, friends, work, brys work, my health, our faith, our neighborhood, my kids friends, our cars and house every thing we have is such a blessing.  I guess I'm just grateful for a lot and just want to say it out loud!!!
