austin letter

So this week was filled with a whole lot of service and tracking again. Other than that we had a good week this week on the service list was clean out a nasty SES pool. There was a semi investo who has been investigating for a few years now and we helped him with his little pond that he has in his back yard I had to shop vac it out then clean out the leaves then scrub it down with bunch of Clorox and man that was the worst thing I have ever smelled. It wasn’t that hard it was pretty small but it had been like that for a year and a half so it was pretty rancid. Like rotten eggs milk and some moldy trash in one combined smell it was not pleasant but it had to be done!

The next went to the Yoder’s and shoveled coal for them for a good 2 hours that was so hard if you want another good work out just go shovel a pile of coal for 2 hours every day. Then later that night we got to sort potato into bags for an hour then basketball to top it all off that was such a hard morning to get up form the next day. Then we went to brother Taylors and helped him with a bunch of little things that he was not able to do. Moving furniture and stuff like that.

But two cool missionary stories happened this week. One is, we where tracking and this woman had been praying for her son to get his faith back and wanted to know how to do that. Later that day we knocked on her door so that was really awesome she let us in we talked to her and her 2 daughters her husband and son were out hunting. Then later in the week we got a call from this guy named Larry who said that he wants to change his life and his brother is a member in Las Vegas ward and his brother told him to call us. He did and he came to church he wants to meet and take the lesson and he is golden!

Thanks for all that everyone does whether you are a missionary or just a normal everyday Joe you are all god’s children and all he wants for us to do is come back to him. Once we do this we will feel joy and peace. I’m so thankful for everyone this thanksgiving season and for all the blessing that out loving heavenly father has given us. Be safe and have a good thanksgiving eat a lot for the missionaries that may not be able to eat that much. I will hopefully be taken care of :)!!!

With all my love everybody,

Elder Inkley
