friends

Friend are the people who know all your faults and still love you!!!!! My friends know all about me and still love me I'm so lucky. I know we all have our little quirks that other people think are annoying, (yes we all have them) but friends love us still or even more because of them.

My favorite times of my week are spent with good Friends. It doesn't matter if we are lunching or talking on the phone or out side by my now dying flowers (so sad) friends help us through all the tough times in our lives. With out them it would be a hard lonely road. so thanks friends you know who you are, neighbors, GAP girls, my click group, the church crowd, the ones from New York to California and every where in between I love you and thank you for being my friend and as James Taylor would say "You've got a friend." ME!

brittanys wedding

what a weekend! Brittany's wedding is finally over. the phone calls and stress, getting the deco. It turned out beautiful, even though for months we have been telling her to have it in a reception hall or the church (which she violently opposed, can you blame her?) It rained hard and we had to squish under the tents and gazebo. But I don't think she cared much, and off they went on the honeymoon with big smiles!

I did call the mother in law who took the 300$ wedding cake home with her, to say not cool. I was very nice and sweet but still the poor Inkley's, they get so walked on because they are so wonderfuly nice. Now I'm looking forward to girls weekend in Oct. Yea it can't come soon enough!

as I was sitting here thinking that my birthday is coming up. I wondered what was my favorite thing I did this year! of course hands down is the cruise we went on in May with our dear Friends. The whole week was a piece of Paradise that I will never forget, but also I loved all the little things like being by the water, whether it be at the ocean or up Provo canyon by the river.
One of my favorite things to do in the summer is sit on our deck and watch the sun set (now it doesn't look like it did in the Caribbean but still its nice) I love to talk to Bryan and sometimes when Tay would sneak out of bed because, hey, it's still light at 9:30 in the summer. We would cuddle on the porch with his blue blanket and monkey! really I think that will be the last summer he will do that, he is 5.
And every time I think of fun things I have done it has always been with great friends, dinner at neighbors houses on Sundays birthday lunches, talking for a few minutes out side while my bare feet were burning on the sidewalk, the annual crab fest put on by the Henry's. My kids biking and playing football. Austin playing tennis with me this past summer,(he's getting good). And spending lots of time with my sweet granny who always makes me smile!
life is so great and I'm so blessed with family and friends who love me and support me in all my crazy projects and jobs. I hope next year will be even better here's to turning 38!

go for the gold!

Yea Tanner! he participated in the special Olympics this past Saturday and won a Gold! He played his favorite sport Golf, it was hit from the best shot so 90% of the time they hit from dads shot. I think Bryan was pretty proud that he got a gold medal as well. Britton also played his first lacrosse game and scored a goal Yea Britton! Bryan had the camera so I didn't get any photos of Britton, but will get some at the next game. If anybody knows how to get photos off your camera let me know.

Can I just have the TOY?

McDonald's our Tuesday afternoon ritual. We meet a few moms before school for a play group. Its really a way for us moms to talk and catch up for the week. I don't know what I would do with out all the advice and thoughts from my friends. Any way as we were pulling into the parking lot Tay said That McDonald's smells delicious! (we had the windows down and you could smell the greasy smell of fries) So I said what do you want that is so delicious? and Tay said can I just have the toy? I think after two years of fast food on Tues. Taylor is finally sick of it too.

The other thing Taylor does every week with me is to go to see Granny. We got these cute pictures of him and Granny, I know you are not suppose to have favorites but Granny always says Tay is special picked, she adores seeing him every week, and is always taking about something he has said.

I gave my niece a shower with a Cinderella theme. white pumpkins studded with pearls, little Cinderella pumpkin carriage frames with there engagement photos we took in the park. It was so fun to do a girl party for once. not a race car or pirate to be seen. I guess I don't get to give any weddings with four boys but I'm sure I will be giving my other two nieces showers when its there turn. I must say it was quiet fun. Wouldn't mind doing that for a job, how fun would that be!

Bryan is home from the Unitas. His photos look so beautiful I all-most want to hike up there next year, I did say almost right? The school fun run is over and it was such a hit! we all ran a mile and the kids all got school tee shirts because we made our goal of 12,000$ we actually made 17,000$ which is 5,000 short of what we need for the year. So I guess we need to do another little fund raiser Yuck!

I also did my triathlon this past Saturday and did OK. I did it in 1hr and 24.9 min I didn't come in first but was not last,(that was my fear) I think know that I have done one I will defiantly do another one, and I will be asking for my own road bike for Christmas so I don't have to use Bryan or Kristi's any more.

So I thought that after my two weeks of complete Hell pardon my french, life would slow down, we have lacrosse M W F and games on Saturdays I still will be working and now I have to focus all my energy on this wedding of my niece, but It does seem a little bit slower.

Labor Day

Bry is out of town camping up in the Unitas. I bet he is cold! He won't be home till Wed, late night. Last week we to see the temple in Draper we ate on the grass and talked about when it's finished we can do baptisms for the dead with the kids. Today I'm tending a neighbor girl and I have play group then drop off then PTA meeting then volunteer at 3-4 then off to work at 7:00-10:00. I keep saying that if I can just get to next week things will be better, but then next week comes and its still just so busy! I can't wait to get the shower over with and the triathlon then it will slow down its got to:)
