End of Summer

Ok don't get me wrong I love to send my kiddies back to school to actually clean and have it stay clean! to go out to lunch and not worry that I've been gone for 3 hours, to sit and read a book without interruption... OK this hasn't happened yet cause school has only been in for a week and well lets face it, I'm crazy busy canning tomatoes (don't ask) making dinner for darling sick neighbors visiting Granny (she is not doing well) cleaning out my summer stuff and trying to put it all away while taking inventory of kid clothing for the up coming winter season etc, etc, etc, but someday soon maybe in Oct I will kick back and enjoy the quite for a bit.

We had such a great dinner in the canyons with our cute neighbors, they are terrific campers and love to Dutch oven so we benefited greatly from their knowledge and expertise, and  had the  most delightful yummy dinner. (why does everything taste better in the mountain air?) 

 The kids hung out the moms talked the dads stood around and talked shop (whatever that means).  We had a great time.  Its sad to see the lazy days of summer end, did I just say Lazy?  Whatever! 

  Here's to a new school year, to having a Sr. in high school (I know how did that happen?) and a sop.  go Tanner!   Then Britton the BMOC  as a 6th grader, and Tay Tay in 2nd.  Those little boys are just growing up too fast!!! but I love this stage my teenagers are so fun to hang out with and Brit is such a great helper, and well Tay keeps us all on our toes..  Welcome Fall! 

Camping with the boys

Bry loves to camp and takes every spare weekend to go, with his friends or with the boys.  Me I don't like to camp so I just stay home in the peace and quite and catch up on my TiVo. 

 Here are some great photos of Bry with Tanner and Boomer (his friend) fishing with Cast for Kids.  Its such a great programme that takes Special needs kids fishing, they give them poles and take them out on boats Tanner has done it for a few years and lookes forward to it every year!

Bry took the boys out to..... well I can't remember but they had a great  time with the fire and leaving their mark (go Alta).  They saw the meteor shower and Taylor couldn't believe that there was that many stars.  "How come there is more stars down here than in Draper?"  It was cold and dirty and they just loved every minute of it!

We had so much fun at Seven Peaks this year. We got season passes and went once a week with the neighborhood and  a few times with just us!  My kids loved it, and I could spend all day in the wave pool, its so relaxing floating on the tube while being rocked to sleep (that is until one of my kids thinks I look too relaxed and tries to tip me over).  What a fun place and what a fun summer we had. So sad to see it end, but then again I won't miss all the teasing and fighting, but will miss the help around the house and fun that we have together eating out, shopping, swimming movies.... goodbye summer hello school!

Beach banners and welcome home!

I would love to live at the beach its just my happy place.  When any body says go to your happy place i end up sitting on the damp sand at some stunningly beautiful beach around 6 o'clock (that's when the sun hits the water just right and the whole ocean is one big pot of glitter!)  I love the smell the sound and the way my hair gets all wavy and piecey and wind blown, (you just can't pay for that look)  I love the colors tan and blue sliver and white, I love the happy people the weekend feel the way food always taste better when your lips are covered in sea spray......  So it was fitting that i made this cute banner for my office so that i could be re- mined of the beach every day.. I have photos of us on beaches i have the sand the shells the sea glass i even have wave sounds on my computer, now if I can only get a tan while creating in my craft room I'd be all

set!!!! 

this is a cute little banner i whipped up for a home coming, I didn't have great paper so i just used the stuff i had, it turned out ok and all seemed to match in the end. i did some really cute picks for the food

table but sadly don't have a photo to show ya!

Last but not least my cute little husband is continuing the year of Michelle and gave me for my July gift the best best best yummyest bath foam ever!!! I love Sephora!!!! its all fruity tropical smells and of course my white tea lotion from Origins that is just to die for!!! Thanks bry I love you too!!!
